Michaela Schwentner's current film work thematically revolves around the history of the textile industry. She examines socio-economic contexts under the aspect of feminist claims. In the course of this process, she critically examines and artistically transforms historical narratives.Gewebeproben is a complex intervention with assemblages of image and research material and filmic miniatures. She links external socio-political and internal contexts of textile and image production in poetic sketches.

Michaela Schwentner uses Peter Sandbichler's installative cardboard work as a spatial environment, now in its fourth edition. The site-specific, modular intervention is adapted by Peter Sandbichler for the Blickle Raum Spiegelgasse in artistic collaboration with the actors in the performance series.
